NextSpace was one of the first Coworking spaces in the nation. Hatched in Santa Cruz, California the founders recognized how much of the local remote workforce was working at local coffee shops, and at home. They wanted to create a space for people to connect, collaborate and grow. They coined the term “the NextSpace Effect” as many new companies have launched from their original location. Today they have multiple locations scattered across the US.
What We Did
We created a brand based on a simple visual from the elements chart, knowing that there would be multiple locations in the future. It’s elemental. The color palette is playful, with a strong emphasis on the orange color. It’s playful. We coined the term “Hang. Loose.” for them, as it represents their laid-back style. Come in and Hang. It’s not stuffy. They serve free coffee, so we thought we’d throw in a coffee cup design too.
